Here are a few tips to ease yourself out of your comfort zone, which may not come easily at first, but you’ll soon spread your wings.
Make a list

Start off by making a list of things that you would really like to do or accomplish. This can include the very smallest changes, like adjusting your daily routine, or making huge leaps, such as learning to drive, taking a class or getting out and meeting new people!
Think of why you’re wanting to make the change and how that specific change will benefit and improve your life. Then create your lists with this in mind as it will give you some clarity and focus.
Include a loved one
Breaking out of your comfort zone doesn’t necessarily have to mean going it completely alone, unless that is part of breaking free and getting used to doing things by yourself. Some people want to become more independent, which is amazing.
Taking a friend or partner along with you to a class, for instance, may be a great way to ease yourself out of your comfort zone and develop a deeper connection with that person. If you can share an experience with a loved one, it’s a sure way to get more enjoyment and fulfilment out of the activity.
Keep a positive attitude
Be gentle with yourself as you learn to take steps out of your safe box. Stick to positive self-talk and be in the moment. You may be scared at first and that’s okay. The only way to overcome your fears is to push through them. Be scared and do it anyway. Do breathing exercises to keep you grounded and calm.
Accomplishing your goal and reaping the benefits from your brave steps, however small, will boost your confidence to try even more new things. You can do absolutely anything you set your mind to!
